Tutoring Students in Canada
Canadian universities admit largely on final grades, so students who add US colleges to their list end up preparing for the SAT and AP exams outside a school system that has little reason to support them. Provincial curricula — Ontario's OSSD, Alberta's diploma stream, British Columbia's graduation program — are rigorous in their own right but don't map cleanly onto what a US admissions reader expects to see, and AP offerings vary widely from one board to the next. We work with Canadian families on both halves of that problem: the exam preparation itself, and translating a provincial transcript into the AP-and-test profile US admissions officers are reading for.
